Frozen lobster meat comes pre-cooked and should be thawed under refrigeration for 24 hours before consumption. You'd then want to place all the meat you plan to use into a strainer and let it drain for about 15 mins. This small step makes a huge difference for the taste. You can use it cold or warm it up for a couple of minutes on the skillet with some butter.
Note: Reheating pre-cooked lobster meat too long will change the texture and flavor of the meat.
Note: Frozen lobster meat can be stored in the freezer for up to 3 months if needed.
Note: Fully thawed lobster meat can be refrozen safely. Place it in a ziplock bag with a little milk or cream, remove as much air as possible and seal tightly.
